The DC Outlaws represent more than just a team; they embody a spirit of unity, opportunity, and growth within our community. By providing children aged 3 to 16 the chance to learn and play baseball, and girls aged 3 to 16 the chance to play softball, we ensure that every child has the same opportunity to participate in these beloved sports. Our program fosters a sense of community, bringing families, coaches, and supporters together to create lasting memories and instill the values of teamwork and sportsmanship. The DC Outlaws have become a source of pride, demonstrating what can be achieved when a community comes together to support its youth.
Brief History
The DC Outlaws were established in 2022 with a vision to create a comprehensive baseball and softball program for the youth of our community. Driven by a group of passionate coaches and volunteers, we aimed to provide children with opportunities to learn and play the games they love.
In our inaugural season, we faced the challenge of starting from scratch but were met with overwhelming support from players, parents, and local sponsors. Our dedication paid off as we quickly grew, offering more children than we initially expected the chance to participate in our summer programs. Through countless practices, games, and community events, such as our end-of-season barbecue, the DC Outlaws have built a strong foundation rooted in community spirit and a love for the game.
Today, the DC Outlaws continue to thrive, aiming to expand our reach and compete with other summer league teams in the area. Our commitment to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth remains unwavering as we look forward to many more successful seasons ahead.
