On Friday, Coach Martin brought something special to the field by combining the YMCA team and the DC Outlaws girls team for a joint practice focused on learning, teamwork, and gaining real-game experience. The energy was high, the players were focused, and the collaboration between teams made it a memorable day of growth for everyone involved.
We were especially excited to welcome three new volunteer coaches and two assistant coaches to the Outlaws family!
Meet the New Coaches:
Coach Alfonso – Brought energy and leadership to the field
Coach Aaron – Focused on helping the girls sharpen their pitching skills
Coach Kendal – Jumped in to support player development with enthusiasm
Assistant Coaches:
Taylor – Brought a calm, supportive presence and kept the players engaged
Anayah – Encouraged the girls through every drill and helped boost confidence
This practice was all about building unity, improving skills, and showing the girls what it means to support each other both on and off the field. It’s just the beginning of a season filled with hard work, new friendships, and unforgettable moments.
Thank you to our coaches, volunteers, and parents for helping make practices like this possible. Let’s keep the momentum going! — Martin Asebedo ⚾🥎
