What an incredible day for the DC Outlaws! We hosted our tryouts on March 22 and were thrilled to see a fantastic turnout. Kids from the local community, as well as those who traveled from neighboring towns, came together for a day filled with energy, excitement, and a shared passion for the game.
Despite the chilly weather, everyone bundled up at the start and stuck it out, eager to show off their skills. As the day went on and the competition heated up, jackets were coming off and the kids hardly noticed the cold anymore. The thrill of being the next one up to bat or receiving a or the next one to get a high five for being recognized for doing something awesome.
Coaches and staff were impressed by the level of talent and teamwork on display, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who stepped onto the field. Beyond the skills, it was heartwarming to see new friendships being formed and a true sense of Team spirit among all participants.
A huge thank you goes out to the parents, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event a success. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these young athletes and for the DC Outlaws program.
